Tom Van Landuyt trained at the HIDK (Hoger Instituut voor Dramatische Kunst - Studio Herman Teirlinck) Academy of Dramatic Art, where he graduated with distinction in 1992. In theatre, he played lead roles in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and A Midsummernight's Dream, A Clockwork Orange, Fun and in the musicals Rent, Peter Pan, Sacco & Vanzetti and TinTin.
He also played in Macbeth, Spring Awakening (Frühlingserwachen), Le Bal at the Dutch Theatre Ghent (Nederlands Toneel Gent, NTG).

He was able to vent his musical talent as lead singer of Precious Limits and the LSP-Band, and as a singer-songwriter on his solo album Pig Party and the soundtracks of the films The Initiation (Ad Fundum) and Team Spirit.

Tom also provided the voices for characters in Flemish (Dutch) versions of the animated films Home on the Range, Sinbad, Dinosaur, The Road to El Dorado, Titan After Earth, Spy Kids, Cats & Dogs. He played a lead part in the feature films Team Spirit II, Team Spirit I, She Good Fighter, Ad Fundum (The Initiation). His roles for television include police informant and criminal ‘Ruige Ronny’ ('Rough Ronny') in the series Zone Stad (Downtown Department), Team Spirit the series, Sedes & Belli, Windkracht 10 (Gale Force 10)... Hij hosted the cultural programme OINC, the adventurous shows Kickx and Het Vuur van Wadi Rum (The fire of Wadi Rum) on VT4, the game show Quix on VRT and the live music show Vox Pop on TV1. Recently, the making of a second Zone Stad season (for VTM) has started. Like during the first season, Tom Van Landuyt plays the role of police informant Ruige Ronny. He will also take on a lead role in a new feature film Stroomversnellingen (Rapids). Is film is being produced by Jan and Gilbert Dalemans ("the Dalemans brothers"). The shooting of the film has been planned for the end of the year.
